It’s no secret - when it comes to accessible learning for neurodivergent students, universities are playing catch-up.

The number of neurodivergent students entering post-secondary education has risen dramatically compared to previous years. Despite this, research suggests intrinsic, system-level barriers remain in place, stifling the success of neurodivergent students in academia.

In a recent article from The Conversation, ENHANCE Lab PI Carly McMorris and Megan Ames offer research-informed recommendations on ways universities can support Autistic students.
